Problem with Belkin Wireless Notebook Network Card

I got a problem with my Network card.

I have installed "Atmel-firmware-1.0-1.i386.rpm".
The Card have power and it appers when I types "ifconfig -a". but when I put the card in, the computer locks himself! I can't open a thing in the "hat" menu, and if I type "ifconfig" or something similar, nothing happens. I have to remove the card and reboot before the computer gives up.

Its a:
Belkin Wireless Notebook Network Card

PCMICA

thanks for all help!
