Minimize all windows in KDE

How do I minimize all windows in KDE. Keyboard-shortcut, like "Windows+m" in Windows?

Well, there's a special button you can put on the Kicker panel - right-click on the panel, select Add->Special Button->Desktop Access. I can't seem to find a shortcut-key for it, though.

Re: Minimize all windows in KDE

To start i know this is an old post.

I recently changed over to KDE from Gnome due to the release of Gnome3 with the Fedora15 release and was wondering how to use the usual keyboard shortcut to minimize all windows which used to be ctrl+alt+D.

A work around for this is to go into System Settings > Shortcuts and Gestures. On the left there is an option labeled "Global Keyboard Shortcuts" Click on this and then at the top where it reads "KDE Component" select "Kwin" from the drop down box.

There is an option that says "Show desktop" if you want the traditional Ctrl+Alt+D just select "Custom" and set your shortcut.

I am kind of new to this forum, so if there is a place where this post should go other than where i put it let me know. Thanks.
