How do I enable btmp

Has anyone figured out how to get btmp running on Fedora Core 3?

I did a touch /var/log/btmp as the man page suggests, but the lastb command still returns nothing.

Thanks

I have the same problem. I did a RTFM and came to the following:

touch /var/btmp
chgrp utmp /var/btmp

According to the FM this should work, bot nothing is logged. I tried an existing userid and a non extisting but no entries are added?

Please advise?

I'm at Fedora Core 4 now, and touching the file still doesn't work. :-(
