FC3 install question

I have a dual Xeon (2.66GHz) Intel server based pc. I installed FC3 on it. On reboot, it
told me that few more settings had to be done BUT keyboard and mouse events are completely ignored! There is no way to progress further without help from this forum.

I also tried Mandrake-10.1 install on the same pc, the install completes and reboot
works as promised.

Could it be flakey hardware?

I had a similar problem...

First, if these are USB devices, try simply removing them and plugging them back in when you need them, perhaps FC3 will initialize them correctly. Also, try pulling a Keyboard and Mouse off of another computer to try those, especially if they use different ports; for example switch from a USB mouse to a PS2 one. If you can get past this point, try installing the kernel from Fedora Core 1.91 (Fedora Core 2, pre-release 2) or earlier. This solved the problem on my dad's computer.

Good Luck!

How about checking the BIOS to make sure you have enabled USB support.
