Keyboard (USB) stops responding Fedora Core 2

Hi,
I have a Fedora Core 2 installation (ASUS P4 P800 Motherboard) . I use an USB keyboard. My problem is that the keyboard becomes unresponsive after a while . Is this a known issue ? Any workarounds if so.

Thanls

Rajiv
