Server - Fc3 Freeezzzeeee

I have just prepare my Fedora C3/Ubuntu server (happen on Both OS), or to be honest is all work around machine.

I have configure in it:

DHCP server
Squid : NET Proxy Server
File Share Server: Samba
FTP Server

I have been some problems with my cable modem ON FREEZING THE SYSTEM (i can connect by usb or eth) when i connnect it by USB, but after i change too eth my problems on freezing have been gone OR AT LEAST I TOUGHT THEY WOULD.........

I have been two days with my server going smooth (even with amule downloading all the time) but as soon as i have open firefox and web surf in my server for a moments my mouse just don't move....nothing mooveeee....only the reset button is the solution...

First i in firefox i have changed my connection:

From proxy to direct net connection ( i tought, maybe squid it's blocking something and only clients should use the proxy)

But firefox keeps freezing....even with the direct connection

I have also IPV6 disabled......could be from that???

Should i stop using firefox and try galeon for instance......

Take note that i have ubuntu also in my laptop...and IT NEVER freezed...so only could be from firefox and my net connection.....

As you may aggree it's very annoying to have from time to time a freezed system...let's say you are encoding a movie and your system just freeze when you are surfing the web..or you are doing something important.....

Well if i can't solve this i'm FORCED to use windows as my server machine..

PS: I suspect it's from firefox...because the system stuck several times already when im surfing the web.....Really I don't know what more can i do.....i have also a geforceFX 5500...i have installed manually my drives...could be from my AGP!!!!

WELL DESPERATE I'M...A LINUX SERVER IS BECOMING A DREAM..

What kind of load are you experiencing? Hard drive clicking? Run
Code:
uptime
to get some load numbers. If they are much above 1 your server is experiencing some load.

Try another browser.
