FC2 no instalation...

I have an IBM desktop computer that has a 1 and a 3 gig drive. It has sufficient ram, and everything suggests it should work just fine. But when I set my computer to boot from a cdrom, it doesn't work. It doesn't load the first instalation screen. It knows ther's something in the drive because it won't do anything but think. A blinking white line apears. It is currently running RH7.2, and it worked just fine on that. I have no idea what to do. please help.

So you did set the boot sequences in the BIOS and installation cd's won't boot. I quess you have a bad burn. Did you checked if the iso files weren't broken with md5sum. And did you burn the iso-file as an image?

For fedora you need at least 5gb depending on your installation and that could be your problem because you only have 3.

I know the cd's are okay, because it worked on another computer. Also, I don't think it is the hard drive because it won't even load the instalation options screen. I have no clue why it's doing this.
