Mysql (Mariadb) immediate shuts down

Hi all,
I did an update with yum, and mysql updated to:

mariadb-libs-5.5.34-1.fc20.x86_64
mariadb-server-5.5.34-1.fc20.x86_64
mariadb-5.5.34-1.fc20.x86_64

previous version was 5.5.32.

There is no error in the log:

When i run mysqld_safe on the commandline, the database will run as normal.
I even did an mysql_updgrade succesfully. I previous version was 5.5.32

But when i run
systemctl start mysqld

It seems to run ok, but shuts immediately without errors.

Anybody?

Re: Mysql (Mariadb) immediate shuts down

mariadb-5.5.34-2.fc20 fixes it. Grab it from updates-testing.

Re: Mysql (Mariadb) immediate shuts down

Thank you for your reply,

I tried using
yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update mariadb mariadb-server mariadb-libs
No packages marked for update

No luck, manually searched in:
http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedo...ing/20/x86_64/

Yum was right, i reckon , rpm's not there...

Re: Mysql (Mariadb) immediate shuts down

It can take a bit of time to make it out to mirrors. This was only broken two days ago and the fix pushed yesterday, it's all recent stuff. either just wait, or grab the packages manually from koji.

In case you don't know where to look for koji, you can find the packages here.
Code:
Changelog * Wed Nov 27 2013 Honza Horak <hhorak@redhat.com> 1:5.5.34-2
                - Fix mariadb-wait-ready script
