FC2 soundcard (creative AWE64)

Can someone help. I am working with FC2 and it does not recognize my soundcard (AWE64). I found a possible soultion:
added:
alias sound-slot-0 snd_sbawe
options sound dmaduf=1
alias midi awe_wave

to /etc/modprobe.conf

Didn't work - does anyone else have a suggestion.
