Problem with the video adapter! cant see

Hello:

I installed Fedora on my machine, in the process selected Trident Video adapter, which has not worked for me in Live Cds, now on first reboot the screen flickers with horizonotal lines and I am unable to use the screen.

What should I do at boot to set this right? and select a different
Video adapter.

Thanks,
Art

Before you try an new video driver, first check your /var/log/XFree86.0.log file for any errors or suspicious entries that may hint on the problem. Also try lowering the resolution to see if that fixes it. (System Settings -> Display)
If you do want to change drivers, run System Settings -> Display (or redhat-config-xfree86) and select Hardware tab, then Configure under Video Card and change your driver to "Generic VGA Compatible" to see if that works better.
