Unhappy USB Flash-memory mounting

When I do for USB Flash-memory ‘mount –t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/flash’ under Fedora Core Linux I’ve got a message
Mount:can’t read superblock.
I have FAT32 file system on Flash. Windows ME&XP can read it.

It doesn't work. They have installation for Fedora Core Linux v.2.6.5-1.358, but I have Fedora Core Linux v.2.6.5-1.358smb and this leads to error at rpm
