Need to mount a Floppy drive in Excel with Crossover 4.0

Hi...guys...

I've installed Crossover Office 4.0 and also installed MS Excel. Problem is when I want to access my Floppy Drive in Excel (which btw is "A") it gives an error that no drive found or its not valid. Although it is already mounted with linux (has a floppy in my desktop) but still gives the same error. Nautilus does see my /mnt/fd0 and /mnt/cdrom with all the contents.

Strange is that in Excel its sees the following:

(A)
fake_windows (C)
/mnt/cdrom(M)
/home/user1 (Y)
/ (Z)

It does sees everything including the equivalent "my documents" to "documents".

Except for drive A:

Another question about the "xdosemu" it works but the problem is still can't copy from Drive A. I can "dir" the files but when I copy with the following command in "xdosemu"

C:\> COPY A:\PK250DOS.EXE

it gives the following error:

"unable to open file '.\PK250DOS.EXE

Again even though it is already mounted /mnt/fd0

Can anybody shed a light in this?

Btw...Running RH Ent. AS 3.0 (Taroon Update 3)

Thank you very much.

Well if you use fedora core 3, the diskette is not mounted in /mnt/floppy but in /media/floppy. A small difference .

do you have a dosdevice directory in ou home directory ??
Like this : /home/me/.wine/dosdevice

Normally you have to create a symbolic link to your /mnt/floppy like this

ln -s /mnt/floppy a: (i'm not sure of the order :-) )

hope it helps,
deuch
