Gateway WLAN in openSuSE not being detected

I'm having the hardest time trying to find an rpm for a WLAN in a gateway profile 6. I need the rpm because I can't connect to the internet. (which is why I need the driver!) I tried installing drivers on the live cd to see if they actually worked, which none did. Here's my info on my hardware:

model: Broadcom Gateway 7510GX
device: BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller

Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Gateway WLAN in openSuSE not being detected

according to the arch Linux wiki this wireless card is supported via the b43 driver: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php...need.2Fcan_use

under Fedora 17 there are several b43* packages with descriptions. But I have no idea about openSUSE. Why not ask in their community forum instead?

Ok, will do. Ty!

WTF?! I go to the opensuse forums (after spending 10 minutes trying to find it!) and attempt to make an account. That redirects me to suse.com. I say sign up again, which takes me to a message that says (in a nutshell) that they're migrating and don't have time for me.
