Fedora won't boot?

I have downloaded fedora (17, 64 bit) multiple times and used multiple Flash drive iso burners, but I can not get fedora to boot! I am using a Asus P8P67 Pro. When I boot it with UEFI mode, it gets to the screen were it says will boot in 8 seconds, but when it gets to 0, it freezes.

Re: Fedora won't boot?

Try Unetbootin and maybe try 32 bit for better success.
Dont worry, if you have more than 4gb ram it installs PAE kernel automaticly.

Will try that. But, I find it odd out of the 6 linux os's i have tried, only ubuntu and linux mint have worked.

Re: Fedora won't boot?

I tend to use dd instead of the graphical ones as I have had boot issue's with those as well.

dd if=/path/to/iso of =/dev/sdx
x = whatever letter for your usb.

Re: Fedora won't boot?

I assume the error was the architecture.
32 bit systems tend to just hang after grub selection of a 64bit live media.

As your problem is solved, please mark this thread as solved in the thread-tools.
