    add this to the end of %install

    Code:
    for file in $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{python_sitelib}/GmediaFinder/{engines,Translation,pykey,checklinks,gmediafinder}.py; do
       chmod a+x $file
    done

    Nothing to be done about the "spelling-error" Warnings.
    Nothing to be done about the "no-namual-page-for binary" Warning.
    Whenever you use,
    Code:
    %find_lang %{name}
    Then you must also use,
    Code:
    %files -f %{name}.lang
    "non-executable-script" Errors. Simple, make those files executable.

    already tested, this produces the following output:

    error: Could not open %files file /home/martin/rpmbuild/BUILD/gmediafinder/gmediafinder.lang: No such file or directory

    RPM build errors:
    Could not open %files file /home/martin/rpmbuild/BUILD/gmediafinder/gmediafinder.lang: No such file or directory
    tgmediafinder.lang wasn't created

    Re: rpmlint E: non-executable-script

    Try putting the %find_lang in the right place

    Code:
    %build
    python setup.py build

    %install
    python setup.py install --root=$RPM_BUILD_ROOT
    cp -R data/img/throbber.png $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{_datadir}/%{name}/

    for file in $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{python_sitelib}/GmediaFinder/{engines,Translation,pykey,checklinks,gmediafinder}.py; do
       chmod a+x $file
    done

    %find_lang %{name}

    %post
    update-desktop-database -q %{_datadir}/applications
    if [ -x /usr/bin/gtk-update-icon-cache ]; then
            /usr/bin/gtk-update-icon-cache --quiet %{_datadir}/icons/hicolor
    fi

    %postun
    update-desktop-database -q %{_datadir}/applications

    fi

    %files -f %{name}.lang
