Question Fedora don`t boot

Hello people
I like so much the fedora, I`m using it now on my USB pen drive and I loving it
But... after the installation on my HD, I select to boot Fedora, then the screen became black and I can`t do anything. I can onlye see a blurry on the top of my monitor and I can see a little of my mouse pointer on the top of screen and I can move it. But I can`t use the system, it`s everything black.

My PC specs are:
Core 2 duo e8400
2GB DDR2
radeon hd 6870 black edition
hd 500GB Western digital

I saw this problem, I found the solution that is to boot using `linux updates=http://some.websites/path/to/updates.img` but ins`t working. Someone can help me? Thanks

Re: Fedora don`t boot

Which kernel are you using?

Did you install the ATI proprietary driver from rpmfusion?
Code:
yum install kmod-catalyst
I guess it does "boot", but the screen is garbled, so you can't read anything.

Can you switch to a virtual console by pressing CTRL-ALT-F2?

There are some boot parameters which might affect video resolution like nomodeset.
