KDE problems

I have installed kde through broadband, using the command

yum install @kde-desktop

kde got installed but only one desktop is opening. Wheather I log in for KDE Plasma Workspace or KDE Plasma Workspace (Failsafe session) only one desktop is opening. I have reformatted the hard drive and installed allover again but the same problem continues. Any help ???

Hello pabitra

The default for a Fedora KDE installation is to only have one desktop. I suppose the idea is that you should use activities instead.

If, like me, you want more desktops then you need to create them.

If you have a single pager window showing on the panel then you can right click on it and use "Pager settings". There is an option in those to create more desktops.

If you don't have a pager on the panel then "Applications - Settings - System Settings - Workspace Behaviour" on the main menu will get you there.
