Gedit Syntax Highlighting

I've been using gedit 2.30.4 to edit my C/C++ source code and want to change the syntax highlighting scheme. Is there a configuration file somewhere that I can modify to change the current settings ( I'd like to change the color of comment blocks , preprocessor commands , etc. ). Thanks for any information.

I think you should take a look at the gtksourvice view manual - syntax highlighting reference

Basically, you would need to edit the *.lang files under /usr/share/gtksourceview-3.0/language-specs directory ...

If there is a simpler gui tool, I am not aware of that ..

Thanks for your responses!

When I installed Fendora , I simply went down to the public library and checked out Fendora Bible that included Fendora 14 , so that is what I'm using now ( I sure this is outdated now! ). I've noticed that there is a 64-bit version of Fendora available. Is the software availability between the Fendora-32 and 64-bit versions the same? I might try this next time Fendora needs an install ....
