Good luck to the NASA team responsible for their Curiosity Mars rover. I wish them all the luck in landing this exciting mission to explore Mars as never before. Does any one know if Linux is involved actually with the rover?

Driving the Mars rovers

Our software, a suite of applications called the Rover Sequencing and Visualization Program (RSVP), was developed, tested and deployed on Linux.
