kglobalaccel hotkeys not seen in gnome-terminal

Using Fedora 13, my custom hotkeys, defined in KDE, can be used in gnome-terminal. But, when I upgraded to Fedora 15, gnome-terminal would no longer honor the hotkey presses, though the key presses continue to work with KDE, mozilla applications, etc. I am currently using Fedora 17 and the problem persists.

My guess is that this is something related to dbus, gtk and/or qt interoperability. Please advise me what forum might best shed some light on what the trouble is and what I can do to get this working again.

This could be an issue with Gnome 3.x

What kind of hotkeys are these?

Isn't there some sort of kterminal or whatever it's called?

What kind? kglobalaccel hotkeys. I have a custom hotkey config. As I have said it works in all KDE applications; it works in all Mozilla applications. It does not work for any Gnome application. I believe it is Gnome 3 and its interoperability with Dbus. The Gnome applications appear not to be receiving the key presses.
