Unhappy Scidavis and Kompozer in Fedora 17 (problems!)

Hello fellas!

I need some help. Using Fedora Core 17 64bits with xfce-desktop, I can't install scidavis and kompozer. I did try -- for example -- "sudo yum install scidavis" but this don't work. The same if I try via apper.

How can I fix this problem and install these programs??

Thanks!

Re: Scidavis and Kompozer in Fedora 17 (problems!)

Can't say about Kompozer, but SciDavis' disappearance was troubling, since I had many files that I used in teaching.

A work around: believe it or not, I was able to install SciDavis for Windoze under Wine -- the Win installer even reached out to install Python 2.6 for Windows (necessary for SciDavis). Very tidy! Font is a bit off -- but files seems to load and work.
