How to install the nvidia driver properly?

Hello

I bought a nvidia Ge-force GT 430 graphics card, but I don't know how to install it's driver properly.

On my brother's computer, which running fedora 17 64 bit (I'm running fedora 17 64 bits too ), I installed this driver but it make 2 problems: (my brother's is using the same graphics card like me)

1. the boot screen resolution is pretty low (1377 x 768) , instead of what had before: 1850 x 1050

2. when I'm trying resume from suspend, it's show just blank black screen, and only reboot solve this.

I wonder, is there some guide to install those drivers properly?

I'm very sorry about my bad English, and I wish you can understand and help me.

Thanks so much!!!
