Re: Shortcut for -windows-applications menu

Do you mean you want to add an icon that will show up under Applications? The way I do it is to create a .desktop file under /home/cazo/.local/share/applications/ (which will show up for just 'cazo') or under /usr/local/share/applications/ (which will show up for all users).

You can look at the /usr/share/applications/*.desktop files for examples, but it is basically just:
Code:
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Exec=/usr/bin/program_filename
Name=Program Name
Icon=icon_filename
Categories=Network;
You can find more info at http://standards.freedesktop.org/des...y-spec/latest/.

Re: Shortcut for -windows-applications menu

There might be an extension for that?

It isn't really useful but there is a way to do it with the keyboard:
Super / Windows key & Ctrl + Alt + Tab (4 x)

Maybe it can be scripted?
