FC17 / KDE Amarok (Media Player)

Hello Fedora Community,

i have a fresh installed FC17 (whit KDE) the default Media Player is Amarok. My Music collection is (round about) 17GB. This Collection has accumulated over many years whit Rhytembox. I copy my Music Collection to /home/$username/Musik - And in Amarok i set the Option "capture" a second option is "import" But the Bubbel Help tells me import is for files from older Amrok Versions.

If i now start Amarok (every time i start Amarok!) Amarok needs 2-3 minutes to give me a surface. and the first what i see is this:



translation: the process for the protocol file has unexpectedly quit

mhm, i have many "files" in this folder, how can I find out "what's going on" - Thanks in advanced

Probably not the answer you're looking for but I dislike the Amarok interface and prefer using Clementine. No problems scanning my music library either.
