I have a Dell Precision M6600 laptop. My USB 3.0 ports worked fine under Arch, but, under Fedora 17, nothing happens when I plug anything In.

Re: USB 3.0 Ports Not Working

What kind of USB 3.0 chip is this?

Code:
lspci -k
Is the xhci_hcd kernel module enabled?

Re: USB 3.0 Ports Not Working

So what exactly happens when you plug it in?
Code:
tail -f /var/log/messages
Looks like the mount point has changed in Fedora 17.

Are you logged in to Gnome 3 or which Desktop Environment are you using?

Re: USB 3.0 Ports Not Working

Plugging a USB 3.0 device into a USB 3.0 port, I get this:

Code:
