Missing laptop?Chinese spys?

I came across this story:

How to spin an "apparently" missing laptop into a story of espionage and involving border tension and historical rivalry

Taiwanese military types are trying to allay fears that a laptop which went missing from a high-speed missile boat last month could pose a risk to national security, after concerns that the device was stolen by Chinese spies.

The laptop in question apparently went missing from a Kuang Hua VI (KH-6) fast attack craft in May when it was anchored at Tsoying naval base in the south of the island.
China would seem to be the prime suspect, assuming the laptop was stolen and not accidentally dropped overboard, given the turbulent history of the two countries.
So who nicked the lapy :

Re: Missing laptop?Chinese spys?

About spinning, how about "Rio has 24% more single women than men", then you read the article and it says that actually up to 35y old there are more single men than women and at 70yo there are three women for one man :-)
(it was in yahoo so probably it can't be called proper journalism anyway)
