disable compiz fedora 15 or 16

it is possible to disable compiz fedora 15 or 16? I would use the same interface to the fedora 14.

What exactly are you talking about?

Fedora 15, 16 and 17 use Gnome 3 which has a different interface than Fedora 14 with Gnome 2.

You can either force GNOME's fall-back mode in the system settings, which is not exactly the same as Fedora 14's interface but is more similar or you can try the Mate desktop (for fedora 16 only): http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=276286
