Ubuntu one on Fedora 17

Hello everyone,

I was an Ubuntu user for 5 years but, now, I have just installed Fedora 17 and Fedora runs fine.

So, I need to use Ubuntu one and I don't know how to install it on Fedora.

Could you help me ?

Thanks

This method not working on F17, it did on F16.
I am getting missing files errors. When following the tutorials.

I am using F17 x64 and as it seems currently there is no way to use Ubuntu One, as far as I knw

Re: Ubuntu one on Fedora 17

The maximillion post got Ubuntu1 up and running for me in about 10 minutes. Just wish there was a repo available from a more trusted source. Is there something like Debian's intent to package bug report for Fedora, just to see if anyone is working on it?

Re: Ubuntu one on Fedora 17

This is all good stuff, and I've succeeded in getting this running initially in Fedora 17.

But it doesn't seem to work as I think it is intended - since the daemon doesn't seem to be triggered if you add something to the Ubuntu One folder.

The only way I've managed to get it to sync new files added to the folder is to quit and restart the daemon. That can't be right. Is there a way of getting it to function more like Dropbox's daemon and keep a constant eye on the folder for things that need syncing?

There's also nothing I can see in the system tray, no controls, settings, preferences, nothing, no option to pause syncing, or anything like that.

Any help much appreciated?

I also would like to use Ubuntu 1 on Fedora. I have followed all the instructions for installing it but cannot get it to sync any folders.
