Software Update GUI Not working

I have a wired connection in Fedora 16. However when I run the software update tool, I get the message "no updates are available no network connection was detected" however I do have a network connection (I'm using it to make this post). Also, when I use "yum update" at the command line it updates without a problem. Any thoughts?

Re: Software Update GUI Not working

Same thing happened to me in F16 (I'm now in F17) without an apparent cause. Since I use yum and occasionally yumex, I ignored it. What I SHOULD have done was to check for a bugzilla and to file one if none existed.
