livecd-creator installs unwanted packegs

F-17 i686 wih updates.

Using livecd-creator to make a custom LIVE iso based upon LXFE.

Problem is that I am seeing torcs and all the extras installed when I have not added them to the kickstart file and have also tried -torcs* in the kickstart file but these things don't seem to work. Torcs is installed anyway.

I have read in the past of others having similar trouble.

Anybody here know how to resolve this?

What is LXFE?
I know XFCE or LXDE.

Get the proper kickstart file, and retry.

LXDE, typo.

I started with the official kickstart for LXDE from f-17 spin-kickstarts package and added packages I wanted but not torcs, a game. Nothing I added is dependant on torcs. I doubt that anything would be dependant on a game anyway.

Not sure what is causing the issue you are experiencing but you can likely remove any unwanted packages from the post section using rpm and a command like.
