[SOLVED] Adwaita Theme Gone After Upgrade to 17

I had the normal smooth adwaita theme in F16. After the upgrade to 17, I am greeted with this monstrosity instead (see attached image).

Yet, when I created a new user to test if this was systemwide or something in my home folder, the new user has the adwaita theme as normal, so I guess it's something is my home folder, but I have no idea what, and the Appearance menu seems to be gone from GNOME Control Center, so I can't just select the Adwaita theme again...

It's using something else as the metacity theme (probably the stock metacity theme).
You can check the org.gnome.desktop.interface settings with gsettings.
You can also wait for GNOME users to rescue you but if you don't mind resetting your GNOME settings then rename your ~/.gconf and ~/.gnome (or maybe even stuff in ~/.local) and start afresh.

Via that method, I was able to narrow down the problem to ~/.config/dconf/ . However, there seem to be a lot of settings there, including things I'd rather not lose.

EDIT: I was able to fix it by installing Gnome Tweak Tool and setting the window theme back to Adwaita.
