hello Linux ppl,
At the moment I am looking for distro to replace (or use beside) my windows.
I made a live usb with fedora 17. Runned few times, liked it and decide to install. I had ubuntu and windows 7 on my HD. hardware: i7, asus sibertooth x58, ati HD 6870, 12gig RAM, 3 HD (2 set to raid 0) windows 7 is/was running on raid part of hard disk.
During installation I chose to replace other linux installations. After rebooting I dont see windows in booting options and my RAID partitions are overwritten with some partitions from Fedora

ehm and I am not happy with it. But its not all. When I chose to run fedora I get blue background screen and mouse pointer and by there it stops booting.. I can move the mouse and thats it.
Any ideas what I did worng? And how I can fix it..?. I have some important files on my windows... so cant just reinstall all stuf.
P.S. I am new in Linux, so I dont even know where to begin or what shoul i search for. So any hint or key words are welcome

hmmm...no answer.. no one even proposed to go and **** myself

was it such a stupid question... for a noob? I think I will try to go back to ubuntu. Thanks for your time. What I really liked about fedora is the start menu. By the way lango is a buggy (crashed after every 4 or 5 games) , but still nice game to kill your time.
cheers
