Can't disable Suspend/hibernate/sleep when inactive
I have changed all settings to kepp f17 from automatically going to sleep/hibernate/suspend. Sytem setting is set to 1 hour of inactivity, lock is off and I followed this guide to disable suspend/hibernate http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/sho...d.php?t=257936 But after approx. 5-10 minutes my screen goes blank. I prefer this not to happen, if I am not using computer, I usually turn of the monitor. Are there any other guides about this I can use.
Re: Can't disable Suspend/hibernate/sleep when inactive
I haven't finished downloading F17 yet, but on F16 I've been using the "Inhibit Suspend" GNOME Shell extension (assuming that you're using GNOME): https://extensions.gnome.org/extensi...nhibit-applet/. There are other extensions but this happens to be the one I chose and it works here – despite its name, it also blocks automatic screen locking and DPMS.
