Domain and Shell

Hello,

I'm having trouble with a user account I am trying to configure, my question is pretty general but requires some background. I am one of few people who uses linux at work. In order to make things a little smoother in terms of user accounts and file sharing, I decided to join my computer to the windows domain using PowerBroker Open (http://www.beyondtrust.com/Products/...-Open-Edition/ formerly Likewise open). When I log on (using gnome) and start a terminal (using gnome-terminal) it looks like the default terminal is set to "sh" (for the PS1, i see "sh-4.2$"). If I start bash manually from this prompt, I get the normal PS1.
My main question is: How can I reset the default shell to bash? (I already tried using system-config-users, but my account isnt even showing up there, might be a problem with Likewise?).
A second question: If this wasn't set up correctly, what else might have gone wrong? Is there anything important I should look for?
These are both general questions but any guidence or experiences with likewise open, powerbroker, or samba winbind would be very much appreciated.

thanks a lot,
Max

Re: Domain and Shell

Wouldn't it be easier just to set the same username and password for logging into your linux box than to mess with 3rd party complications?
