Finally tried FC2 Test 1

Well... my download finished and i installed FC2 test 1. Everything went smooth.The only problem i had was the sound which was terrible ...but anyway.. i found gnome very disappointing, in particular that "new" window thing. Another thing was that the mounted devices didn´t show up in the desktop, as well as when right clicking on the desktop there aren´t any devices to mount or umount. Is that the normal thing?? Odd..
I must say i am a big Gnome fan, but ... when i saw KDE 3.2 was was very... very well surprised ... it´s fast ...much faster than ever. I´m thinking to switch ...

Well, things may and most pobably will change between test1 and final release.. SO any quibbles you have will mosy likely be addressed, and if they aren't then an RFE to bugzilla would do the trick. About the no mount options, I haven't ran test1 in a week or two so can't remember if it had this or not. I'm sure it should have..
As for sound, quality or volume? The sound channels are all muted by default... Sound is still being refined like all other components.. Use it as a glimpse of things to come unless you're a developer..then by all means join in with patches for things and bug fixing etc.
