Fedora 17 doesn't detect my windows 7 installation

I have installed fedora 17 on my gpt disk with efi boot system (fedora 16 gives an error, but 17 works), know I have an issue, grub menu doesnt display my windows installation, I have looked the wiki and I dont see how to add windows 7 manually (Automatic detection doesnt detects it, grub2-mkconfig), so I need a guide, or instructions on what to add and where.

Thanks.

Try mounting the Windows partition and then running grub2-mkconfig. I've had more than one instance where this was a solution where OS's that should be detected weren't detected.

Seems this doesn't work for me either, at least not now.

You're barking up the wrong tree.

As far as I understand you're supposed to use your computer's uefi boot menu to select different efi operating systems and not grub ;-)

No, thats wrong, in ubuntu grub does the job, in fedora it doesnt, you can select any operative system in the efi boot menu, it will always boot from grub.
