Intellinet 150N wireless Mini USB adapter not working

I have fedora 14 (i dont have 15 and 16 is too resource intensive) installed on a 4gb flashdrive. It has an issue. My pc has a Intellinet usb wireless adapter, and fedora is either not detecting it, or simply not having the right drivers for it. I have looked around on the internet and came up with this, but it is for ubuntu and i am not sure if it would work, or if it would just screw up my set up.

Can anyone tell me if the bash code is safe, or if there is a better solution?
