Lightbulb How to successfully configure Samba on F14?

Hi guys,

What are the sections in smb.conf that I must change/configure/add in order for samba to work. I was able to connect from Windows 7 to Fedora but I was only able to see the shared folders; I was not able to access them. It prompted me to see admin for help. I missed something in the smb.conf file but don't know what.

I am about to re-install samba on a new machine, btw.

thanks!

Did you run smbpasswd to add your windows users to samba?

I did. But I figured it out now. I realized that I did not specify the path at the end.

Thanks!
