Toshiba Satellite Fan Speed Control

Hi,
since i have started to use Fedora 16 (1 month) my laptop fan starts after using internet radio and does not stop even when i logout. The only way to stop the fan after it starts is to shutdown. It will run all night when nothing else is.

Today I found this command and used it in the terminal :-)
for the first time
[root@localhost ~]# find /sys -name '*fan*'
/sys/bus/acpi/drivers/fan
/sys/kernel/debug/tracing/events/syscalls/sys_enter_fanotify_init
/sys/kernel/debug/tracing/events/syscalls/sys_exit_fanotify_init
/sys/kernel/slab/fanotify_response_event

Would someone be able to help me with finding a fix?
Thanks
