Loss of Nautilus file info unless the window is clicked/moving.

Anyone else seeing this after the latest round of vunderbork updates?

To test: In a nautilus window, edit>Preferences>Display> select size as the first box, Type as the second, and Date modified as the third option. Close, then move the window around the screen.

I am not sure that nautilus is even paying attention to the settings anymore.

I am having issues where it starts in a maximized state upon every reboot or restart, no matter what the settings for it are. Now once I minimize it back to normal size, then it works correctly until I reboot/restart again.

Re: Loss of Nautilus file info unless the window is clicked/moving.

Well, I have noticed that lately they are letting more "bugs" slip into the "gold" versions than they used to as well. It appears more to me like they are more interested in keeping on schedule than they are about making sure things work properly.

It appears that "it can be fixed by an update after install" is now a valid (and often used) reason to prevent a bug from blocking release.
