Question Thunderbird unavailable on Fedora 14

I am currently running Thunderbird 3.1.16 on my Fedora 14 and can't find a way to upgrade to 11. Has Fedora discontinued its support? If so, what has it been replaced by? Or am I doing something wrong?

Re: Thunderbird unavailable on Fedora 14

Fedora 14 reached EOL in Decmeber 2011. There will be no more updates to Fedora 14. If you want to use Thunderbird 11, you would need to download it from mozilla's servers.

That's kind of sad for 14. I'm using 15 and 16 on other machines and I don't like them one bit.

Re: Thunderbird unavailable on Fedora 14

You could alternate desktop environments like Cinnamon for Fedora or MATE DE if it is GNOME that's irritating you.

Re: Thunderbird unavailable on Fedora 14

It should run well from the source, but it's also possible that a version from the F15 or F16 repo would work on F14. It wouldn't hurt to try.
