If you don't want subscriptions, please change your settings

DO NOT MARK FEDORAFORUM MESSAGES AS SPAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you do, those of us who want to receive forum notifications cannot, as Google aggregates the spam data. When you mark the messages as spam, it not only starts putting them into your spam folder, it put them into the spam folder of EVERYONE, even those of us who want them.

It is not hard to change your subscription settings. Please do so. If you're smart enough to run Linux, you're smart enough to change your subscription settings. Don't destroy the notification system for the rest of us who rely on it.

Yup! This problem seems to have cropped up suddenly and is a little annoying. I did not think of the spam part and posted this sometime back.

Hopefully, "mark as spam" will stop.

Re: If you don't want subscriptions, please change your settings

I first noticed them when looking through my spam folder for something else. I had assumed that forum activity had gone way down!

It does not help that the forums email account does not send Gmail's new DKIM and SPF authentication data. Gmail is probably assuming that these are Phishing messages as a result of the spam markings!
