Weird bug?
So, I have this really weird bug.
It happens whenever I close my laptop lid. It makes me force-shutdown by holding the power button... I don't like doing that... haha
Is this known?

Re: Weird bug?
Sorry about that! Here is a larger version:
If you can't read it (sorry about it's blurriness) it says:
udevd[122]: RUN+="socket..." support will be removed from a future udev release. Please remove it from /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/40-multipath.rules:16 and use lib udev to subscribe to events.
Cannot open font file true.

Re: Weird bug?
I see that all the time, on multiple computers. Does it stop the computer from booting or are you just asking if it is a possible issue?

Re: Weird bug?
Well, I can't get back to the desktop after I see it. Nothing happens and I am forced to reboot. I tried CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE and Hitting CTRL+ALT+1/F1 etc.. but none of it works. I am forced to hold the power button and start it again later.

Re: Weird bug?
As a workaround: what happens if you disable the lid action (e.g. with the gnome tweak tool)?
Any way, the udev line isn't related and it is also quite unlikely that the inability of reading a font is the cause of this.
Anything suspicious in /var/log/messages or dmesg?

Re: Weird bug?
I attached the dmesg and /var/log/messages. I don't know what I'm looking for, but I'm hoping someone will
sorry about /var/log/messages being in a .tar.bz2 file. It was too large to upload ~2.9MB I think

Re: Weird bug?
what yo need to do is to add the sysfont back to your kernel line. There was a glitch and for some reason it puts sysfont=True
edit your /boot/grub2/grub.cfg (as root user)
On the kernel line, change sysfont=True to sysfont=latarcyrheb-sun16
You need to change it in your /etc/default/grub file as well, so that it won't put the bogus value back into your grub.cfg if you run grub2-mkconfig in the future.
the line you need to change in your /etc/default/grub file:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="rd.md=0 rd.lvm=0 rd.dm=0 SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16 KEYTABLE=us rd.luks=0 LANG=en_US.UTF-8"
change sysfont=True to sysfont=latarcyrheb-sun16
