Question Python applications do not close properly

F17 3.3.0-0.rc6.git0.2.fc17.x86_64
Python 2.7.2

Python GUI applications seem to run OK, but do not close properly. Has anyone else seen this?

Not seeing any problems on my system. Which applications are problematic?

Sorry for the delay replying. Any Python application using wxPython.
Sample application at http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6106778/hello.py. You will of course need wxPython installed to run it.

The app is just an empty "Hello World" frame. It can be moved, resized, minimised etc but it won't close.

They do not close when the 'x' at the right hand end of the title bar is clicked, nor when 'Close' is chosen from the context menu which is presented after clicking the application icon at the left hand end of the title bar.

See my sample application referred to above for an example. You will need wxPython installed to test it.

Question Re: Python applications do not close properly

Have discovered that pgAdmin III exhibits the same symptom, I wonder if it has to do with Gtk?
