Re: ATI Fedora 16 Dual Screen
AMD's Catalyst driver is compatible with the xrandr command, you can use this command.
You can use "xrandr --help" and any search engine for help. Recently I didn't use this command recently, so I forgot the correct syntax.
But isn't it possible to use the AMD control center for this, it would be probably a bit easier than xrandr?

Re: ATI Fedora 16 Dual Screen
open the Catalyst Control Center as root. The settings you want to change should be below display manager -> several displays (maybe it's called a little bit different, for me it displays everything in German language).

Re: ATI Fedora 16 Dual Screen
hm maybe. Did you start the Catalyst Control Center as Admin otherwise it will be grey. If it doesn't work you can try if xrandr detects the monitors correctly. Just enter xrandr in terminal and you will see a output.

Re: ATI Fedora 16 Dual Screen
Ok, first time i run xrand -q i recive a error, but i configure the xrand with this two command and restart and its now running:
# aticonfig --set-pcs-str="DDX,EnableRandR12,FALSE"
# aticonfig --set-pcs-str="DDX,EnableRandR13,FALSE"
Now when i run xrandr its detect the monitors, but in catalyst controle de monitor dont show me anything

Re: ATI Fedora 16 Dual Screen
maybe you will see any error message if you run amdcccle from terminal:
if it doesn't change anything, you can try to configure it with the xrandr command.
