Wher eis the GUI mount drive stuff?

Hey, I am reinstalling F16 after somehow damaging the RAID controler?? I dono.

Anyway RAID is out for now so I went with 2 1.5 TB drives for F16 and then I left a 1.5TB and a 5oo GB drive to do backuos to but with F16 I don't see much for encrypting and mounting.

There is a disk utility that allows me to select format but little else.

F14 simply allowed more freedom with the GUI but F16 is awkward and strange to me.

Can someone point out the utility to format and encrypt drives under F16?

No on to see if the 10 second typing pause issue is still an issue.

Isn't there an option "Mount Volume" in Disk Utility? Or are you looking for something outside it?

I see where I can create a raid array but the simple format options and even the icons for the volumes are where?

I am sure I will like F16, I think the security is much better than F14 that I see so far..

But?? Where in the heck to I click to encrypy and mount?

OMG!

Okay so like on the fourth try I got the GTX550Ti to work but Gnome3 died!

So like it is the old style interface now and I can see the disk Icons!!!

This was the fourth reinstall for F16.. Boy oh boy is it buggy!

Well I can do what I need to even if Gnome3 is broken with the evga GeForce550Ti and the drivers per instructions installed. I may have not waited long enough for the default Gnome mode to take over.

So I have this 8 core. I guess I should hook it up to all the things such as bugzilla.

Okay then I should be able to format and encrypt now that OI am kicked out of Gnome3

I'm wrong.. Those drives don't show up.

I forget what the commands are to see the drives
