Re: Lexmark driver sh - z600cups-1.0-1.gz sh wont unpack

Error in checksums would seem to indicate a corrupted file. Try downloading again.

You have a hypen in front of sh. I believe that is your problem this time.

If you still have problems, you might need to follow these instructions as well.

Re: Lexmark driver sh - z600cups-1.0-1.gz sh wont unpack

I need to install this driver with - sh.
Here is the doc:

BASIC INSTALLATION
==================

Z600 CUPS Printer Driver includes the following files:
- z600cups-1.0-1.tar.gz.sh
- README
- COPYING

In general, to install Z600 CUPS Printer Driver, you run
the following command:
- sh z600cups-1.0-1.tar.gz.sh

but with - sh z600cups-1.0-1.tar.gz.sh I get bash command not found.

In my opinion you should extract the file in the archive.
Then run:
./nomefile (from the directory in which you downloaded the file itself).
Or double-click on it and then choose run in a terminal ...
Hope it helps ...

Of course. Look more carefully. A hypen precedes each line above. The hyphen is only being used as a bullet (point).

Re: Lexmark driver sh - z600cups-1.0-1.gz sh wont unpack

Use the commands below and you should end up with the two rpms
Quote:
tail -n +143 z600cups-1.0-1.gz.sh > install.tar.gz
tar -xvzf install.tar.gz
If not ill give you link to the rpms

Re: Lexmark driver sh - z600cups-1.0-1.gz sh wont unpack

You need to install libstdc ++33 to get it to print, I know i used the Z600 series in FC7.
