I have the same question. I thought the current version was 1.1.13. A big leap?

VLC 1.2 is called twoflower, as per Rawhide.Wrong post by VLC on twitter, I guess!

looks like they have switched to the Number 2.0 going by that roadmap

it was going to be 1.2.0 and 1.3.0 etc
