Menu changing to full menu...

Once is was able to change the menu into a full menu with shut down of my machine, i am talking the system menu at the upper right corner. I have forgotten how.

You' re probably talking about the Gnome Shell extension: alternative status menu.

As Dutchy said, or else hold the Alt key to change suspend to shut-down.
