I'm trying to do a fresh reinstall of evolution on my system (F16). The reason is because I think my installation is corrupted (I'm not able to add new entries to my calendar).
I did yum reinstall evolution, and I deleted .local/share/evolution, .config/evolution, .cache/evolution, and .gconf2/apps/evolution. But, when I open up evolution, my old account details still show up. Also, if I do gconftool-2 --dump /apps/evolution, I see information relating to my old account settings.
How do I go about purging this and starting from fresh?

Ok, I had to do a restart.
However, I found that this also messed up my mailnag settings and I'm no longer getting email notifications. Anyway ...
